As we gear up for our move two seasons from now, we thought it would be nice to have the ability to share our experiences in many different formats. Often I will share a post from here on Life TransPlanet with my friends on Facebook, especially those events that are pretty big deals or just interesting in their own right.
The logo -notice Kitty? There’s also a coqui on the “r” that the chicken is staring at.
But I was thinking that there may be some people on Facebook who would indeed like to see more than just the occasional post and who really do like the details, questions and problems that arise throughout this moving and settling process. So, I created a Facebook page where friends, family and even those we haven’t met yet can follow along on our journey from Colorado to Puerto Rico and beyond. You can “like” it and get all the scoop. Check it out here: Life TransPlanet on Facebook. I’ve also added a badge to the sidebar of this site to help you find it. Even if you are not on Facebook you can check it out. I have kept it open. Looks like this:

Visit us on FB as well
And while most of the details will be primarily on this site, many people would prefer to go first to Facebook to find out if there is a new post or new question. Some people feel more comfortable commenting on FB than on a blog for some reason, so I wanted to allow for people to feel at ease in any modality. We also have and long had a YouTube channel (LifeTransplanet). It is where we upload the videos that you see on this site, although there are a few that don’t make it on here. We may look into other mediums (like Instagram maybe Twitter?) in the future but so far I think this is plenty to manage already.
Also just a technical FYI if you do “like it”. After you like it, if you hover over the “Liked” button you can click “Get Notifications” and then you won’t miss anything we post because it will come up as a notification. If you leave it as “Show in News Feed” you may or may not see what comes through depending on your other settings and the frequency of your Facebook visits.
The excitement is building and we want you to all be there with us if not literally (which we truly hope you visit us!!) then cybernetically :-)!
