You are so good with your Spanish! Re: Pig in Puerto Rican. A person with filthy habits is a cochino, o puerco. Pork meat is carne de cerdo. A pig is a puerco, o cerdo. Generally speaking; there actually are more variances. I had to “forget” these and stick to “cochino” for pig when living in California due to the Mexican influence. — Fran.
